Presented with the challenge of personalizing a newly built expansive home, KCD helped the client identify how their new space should feel. These emotions were the foundation for a design concept both modern and inviting that will inspire for years to come.

Project Timeline

Phase (01)
Phase (02)
Phase (03)
Phase one consisted of learning the goals of the client with this newly purchased property. Designing for a growing family was the thread throughout the entire process.
Phase two was giving the home a new "facelift" that showcased the clients personality. The home received all new decorative lighting and furniture throughout, custom backlit brazilin stone coffee bar, new kitchen backsplash and plumbing, custom limewash paint in the primary bedroom and an incredible glass stairwell railing to name a few.
Phase three focused on the install of the clients uniquely curated art collection and furniture from local and abroad sources spanning throughout the interior of the home as well as exterior.

A Meaningfully Enhanced Home Designed for a Growing Family

Originally from Bosnia, the clients offered a beautifully authentic vision for their home that ultimately blossomed into an undeniable experience in each space. We are incredibly thankful to our clients for allowing the design process to be led by emotion rather than only visual - creating a truly one of a kind space to be felt not seen.
